The Tri-Cities in Washington, is a metropolitan area consisting of three smaller cities: Richland, Pasco and Kennewick. Located in the southeast part of WA, you will find in the area has some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. This video here gives you a brief tour of the area, but there is so much more.
The semi-arid climate and low cost housing makes it a great place for retirement. Local residents boast 300+ days of sunshine a year, even though it may be cloudy most of the time.
So, where do you go from here?
If you are planning to move to the area, the best thing to do is contact a tri-city real estate agent. They are intimate with the area and can direct you to the best places to live that are affordable within your budget.
Take a look around the site and you will find something interesting in every corner. Enjoy the site! I'll keep adding more things to keep you up to date in the area.
Now Richland isn't like going to a trip to Disneyland -- which by the way you can get some ideas on buying cheap Disneyland tickets here -- but there are some exciting things to do in the area. I think visiting the Hanford nuclear reactor is probably one of the better things to do while here in this city.
BTW, you probably want to visit the B reactor now before it becomes a national park and you have to wait in long lines like you do at the Disneyland resort.
